The Stanleys

The Stanleys are our very own version of The Oscars. A coveted Stanley will go to fifteen deserving campers for achievement as artists and citizens of the Camp Stanley community. Over the course of camp each artist in residence and counselor will track our campers' progress in various categories.

The categories include but are not limited to areas such as best vocal performance, best ensemble, best team player, most improved player, best accomplishment in "fun failure," greatest accomplishment by a youngin', best mover, best comedic performance, best new filmmaker, best break-through performance, etc. All campers will attend the ceremony and every camper will contribute to pre-production.

Auditions will be held at the beginning of camp for host positions, presenters, and red carpet interviewers. While at camp, Stanleywood participants primary goal is the documentation of camp highlights, camper testimonials, award "bits," and all other film included during The Stanleys ceremony.

This is a celebration for the entire camp community and is a great wrap up of the previous night's Cabin Awards ceremony.
